Help with Custom Rolex!!!
I was wondering if anybody knew how much it would cost to have rolex add diamonds to my Black SS SubC i want to add them to the hour markers. i will miss the blue lume but will love the diamonds. Anybody know if theres a price list or any kind of information on Rolex USA or anywhere else that could do this. Please just let me know

Rolex will not sell parts or modify watches that did not come that way from the factory.

You are better off looking for a spare diamond dial from one if the sellers on here.

Actually I think they do sell the sub with diamonds at the 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10 and 11 hour markers but only on the TT versions. It is actually a vet nice and subtle addition. I really wish they had it for my 116713 when it is I may actually send mine in to my AD to send to the RSC to change the dial.

Please don't mess up your watch. I would not put any aftermarket anything on my Rolexes. If you must I would search for a diamond dial that fits your needs, purchase it have a competent watchmaker install it. Then at least you can restore it to original if you ever want to. Just my $0.02

I personally would not modify a Rolex beyond switching a coke for Pepsi or black original bezel, however, if a "custom" dial with diamonds is your thing Stu Jefferson of watchmasters out of Lorton VA sells them. Give him a call.
Not sure how he gets them or if he makes them himself. I think they are original Rolex dials which are modified with diamonds. |

Take my advice its not worth the trouble, better for you to sell your watch then but a reference that has a diamond dial option. As Rolex themselves would not change it or service it, or any other Rolex affiliated watchmaker would not change dial for you.So if you do source a dial then is a watchmaker not affiliated to Rolex will have to do it and service watch after such a mod.

Is that right though Mike? I thought if it was an option at time of purchase they would allow it. I asked them to supply a jubilee for my GMT that had the oyster bracelet and they did it for me. ?

Yes because at one time that model was offered with a jubilee as an option. Any parts sold and installed on a watch must be model correct. Gorgeous piece.
