Daytona changes question

Think I have it but would like to confirm and have a band question.

Only recent changes in SS Daytona are:
1. The switch to super luminova around S series
2. The rolexreolexrolex Rehaut around Z M series
3. The clasp like the GMT IIc around M series

Is that right?

Also, did the oyster band go solid center links at the same time the clasp changed?

Thanks.

There was also the most recent change in the bracelet so that it now tapers more sharply with three tapering links, as against the previous four. This change was, however, applied across all of the steel Oyster bracelets at some point in 2012 (I think).

In the SS models, I don't think the easy link clasp was introduced until the V series. I could be wrong, but I've not seen any M's with the easy link.

Could someone in the know explain the exact changes to the Oyster bracelet, recently flipped my GMTc for a BLNR and although I have the same number of links fitted as my old watch, the sizing feels somewhat different, tried various setups and not sure I can get the fit exactly right!! Admittedly think the hot weather is affecting the judgement on the sizing but hey, sounds like I'm not going crazy based on the above comments and a design change!!

I seem to have noticed a slight rise in the solid end links! Also are newly supplied watches meant to include a half link, as I'm not sure I got one, obviously any photos or comments would be helpful, many thanks!

The 116520 has always had an ez-link since introduction in 2000.. Rolex does not change anything by serial number prefix..

Fat hands were introduced shortly after the 2000 release.
