Pretty soon we're all going to be buying cell phone helmets. That's a DEEP pocket.

Sorry..not laughing at anyone. Just cant imagine how big these phones are going to get. As long as there's a need I guess, they will just keep getting bigger. And you guys are gonna have to wear man bags or murses.

I had a galaxy for about a fortnight after I decided the Iphone 4 needed trading...needless to say I found it complicated and frustrating so I traded back to Iphone and don't see myself being swayed by Android. If I were to dabble again then I'd look at the HTC One.

I just found one neat thing that Android can do. I loaded Chrome Mobile on my S3. Now it syncs with my desktop and laptop. So when I open it on the phone it shows both what my desktop has opened in Chrome and what my laptop has opened in Chrome. The idea is that you can keep working on what you were working on with your desktop or laptop on the road. Not sure how practical it is but it is kind of neat.

I think this sums it up for a lot of people, either the iphone is too restrictive or is bliss. In talking to friends those that are technogeeks like Android for all the possibilities, those that need idiot-proofed technology, including me like Apple.

You know, I've been an advocate of the iPhone for a LONG time now. However, I myself have switched over to the Dark Side ( AKA Doc Side ) and went with Android this contract change back in December of last year. I went with the HTC DNA on Verizon. The reason being, I've been an iPhone user since 2008 and the OS was getting stale for my tastes, and the screen norm has been 4.7 inches now for almost two years for other Android devices.

So, I wanted the DNA that had a 5" 1080P screen and you know what ? That was the BEST decision I've ever made ! I LOVE android, and the gorgeous 5" screen. I see some of my friends that still have the old iPhone 4 ( or even the "new" 5 ) and WOW that thing is SMALL. Granted, I have big hands, but still seems the trend is now towards bigger phones.

Anyway, to your question, I'd get the GS4 hands down. The new 5S coming out this year will still have the same 4" form factor as the iPhone 5, so if you want a nice / bigger screen you'll be waiting until late next year. As far as getting an iPhone, I really hope Apple makes a 5" iPhone for next years iPhone 6 release. If they do, I'd be a return customer for sure. For now, I'm MORE than happy with my HTC DNA.

I was a long time Blackberry user, from the 9500 to 9550 and finally the 9850. My wife had the last two iterations of the Bold. We have now both switched to the iPhone 5. I like it for all the apps that are available, although BB still has the best e-mail synching around, hands down. With the BB, e-mail was instantaneous. With the iPhone (and I'm sure with Android devices as well), there is a slight delay in downloading and updating e-mails. But other than that, I am very happy with the iPhone. It syncs with my iPad, which is a nice feature, and if I were willing to pay Verizon's monthly fee, I could use the iPhone as a mobile hotspot. But there are enough free wifi outlets available, especially at airports, stores, and hotels, that a hotspot is not a necessity for me.

And, unlike the BB, the iPhone does not crash.

My S4 Active lasted one day lol.

Placed it in a glass of water and it stopped working.

Since it is billed as a water resistant phone that can take photos and videos under water for up to an hour, I was not expecting it to die after being dunked in a glass of water for a couple of minutes.

And unlike my late Droid. Stability is the most important thing to me, something I didn't know until I had an unstable OS.

Well, AT&T didn't make me pay full price, so I just got another S4 Active...however, had they made me...I was moving on to the Nokia 1020...

Kind of a funny side note: My pops thought I was crazy for buying a Rolex. Said "my phone tells me the time and I could buy quite a few for that price". So after this whole ordeal he says to me this morning: "so, I was thinking...after this whole episode with the phone...your Rolex purchase is looking smarter and smarter."

I chuckled, but on a serious note...almost over $1k on a phones in a month...and was almost getting worse. Wish Rolex made a phone... :)
