Congrats Mike - you've got yourself a nice collection of PAMs now

Personally, that 1950 would be glued to my wrist ...the 372 wouldn't see the light of day for some time to come... unless of course the 1950's headed to the safe...

That's an interesting question. The 372 is lighter and feels more modern. It's shockingly bling - this is a watch meant to be noticed. I really like the jumping hour hand setting which makes it a surprisingly good travel watch. I'm guessing the 3/4 plate and balance bridge in the back means this will be a robust watch.

The 127 looks much more vintage and the dome glass is sexy. The brush finish really cuts down on the bling making this a more subtle piece. The ETA movement feels more solid and there's more to see in the back. The thicker and longer gold hands are nicer than the more delicate looking 372 hands.

In short, they are very different watches. I'd probably wear a 372 daily and strap on a 127 for special occasions. Beaides at half the price, I'd rather beat up a 372.

Congrats. I was in Tampa the other day and happened to walk by a Mayors in the mall there so I stopped in to take a look. Fell in love with the Panerais but my wrist is 6.5 -6.75 and I didn't feel comfortable going over a 42 although the sale people were telling me the 44mm GMT looked fine. I'd say you have one of the more diverse collections on this forum.

diversity is your friend. personally i cant justify or get the idea of owning watches that are the "same". example. a sub and nd sub. ITS THE SAME WATCH!! without a date!! lol.

but hey if someone else wants to do it thats fine. its just not for me.

You're going to love looking down at your 372.

Thanks everyone! I can see why the 47mm models are so popular despite (or perhaps because of) the size.
