I really was expecting a movie where you where hitting a neighbours car

Maybe go to an open field before it really happens !

And you will save some props.

I am checking some more info and getting info about the FPV

Hey Marc,

I saw that video with the Phantom Vision too, before I got mine. I like the Go Pro camera version because that's what I had and I can mount the camera in my Jeep or on my motorcycle too, not to mention skiing, biking, or any other sport.

I did hit the neighbors car, a little before I hit the mailbox. I realized afterwards that I forgot to put the SD card in the camera so I don't have any footage of those. It's hard to explain, but this thing is hard to control at low levels but it excels at high altitudes.

Hopefully it wasn't a total loss ;-)

So I know what I will need to do.
Find a big terrain and practice there !

But reading (a lot) there still a 'ban' by the FAA on UAV until 2015 ?
No comercial operations allowed . . . we'll what's commercial

Probably I crash first . . .

But the new model is really what I like
With the Wifi and the camera already installed and you can pan using your iPhone . . . looks really fun !

Update!

I used needing Windows for the IOC (intelligent orientation control) configuration to buy myself a new MacBook Pro! I also got Parallels and Windows 8. I just finished installing Parallels, Win 8, and the software/firmware to enable the switches on the controller to enable "home lock mode". This means no matter the orientation of the copter, forward stick will be forward and back stick will be be back (towards me).

I have to do some household chores now so hopefully tomorrow I'll have more footage.
