Need help, 233 or 028 special limited edition PDC/LDC?

Need help from you guys on which one to keep, as I need to sell one, I have both in 100% new state, the 233 is the K series with "spot" dial, which I like better than the new ones, as for the 028 it's a special 1000 pieces edition, here is the link to the panerai site for the 028.

I like them both but can't keep both of them and can't make up my mind, of course they are very different from one another.

Do you think the 028 will grow in value over the years? I see it on sale new or 95% between 7400 euros and 8000 euros, the 233 I got brand new for 8200 euros, knowing that they made 4500 of the "spot" version, plus all the new ones which have AM/PM instead of the spot, not as nice IMO..

I love my 233 and it is very highly regarded here on TRF. Many feel that it is the ultimate watch. Maybe not by price or exclusivity but functionality and beauty. I know I love mine. My guess is you will see overwhelming love for the 233 here in a few minutes.

233 ... i think it is the much nicer watch ,,, and that would be more important to me than making 500 or 1000 USD profit (maybe)

If you're looking to invest and make money from watches, you're better off becoming a dealer or putting your money elsewhere. Wear what you like and enjoy.

You should keep the one you like more. The profit margin on any modern watch is hard to predict.

28 values have been dropping due to other new models being offered and larger 47mm pieces. Prices on even 127,249 etc dropping due to similar new Panerai offerings.
233 has much more demand, better movement, and domed crystal.

Sell the 028 while you can get a decent price. Besides I like the look of the 233 better.

First of all, I would like to say "welcome to the Forum".

I'm a 233 fan all the way, but maybe if you could take a picture of both watches side by side, then we can all get a sense of how you feel when you look at them while trying to decide which one to let go.

IMHO, the PAM 233 is a busy watch....GMT, Power reserve across the center (always reminded me of a Pumpkin's tooth) date and stuffed into the smaller 1950 case rather than the Regular Luminor case.

The PAM 28 PVD Special Edition while having the Power reserve of the fist production year half moon dial just fits in nicely under center. The look of the PVD is a great change if you wear pr have worn a lot of shiny steel watches...plus the PVD will retain its value more than the SS so when you may tire of the style you can sell it and be able to purchase, without topping off too much $$$, another watch which catches your fancy when that time does come.

Just as an aside, someone taught me how to make a small fortune in watches.....he said first you start with a large fortune........

Was offered a 28 by the dealer,but declined.Rather 233,although 270 would be my pick over 233.Marginally.

Alors...
either you use the forum's "Attachments" option (the paper clip icon) to upload an image from your computer or you use the "Insert Image" option (yellow icon with mountains and sun) if you store your photos online and have a link to each individual photo.

For Youtube videos, use the "[YT]" parameter.

Anyways I wanted your advice, but I was already at 90% for the 233, the 028 is nice but very far from Panerai standards in my opinion, the seconds arrow is like any other watch in the middle with the other arrows, the DLC is nice because very hard to scratch, but of course I don't believe that the 028 will gain in value, or maybe in 30 years, I bought it because I could and got a good price for it, but since I can't keep both the 233 will be it.
