My First Rolex: GMT-Master II BLNR
Newbie here, and excited to finally have a Rolex of my own. Rolex has been on my wishlist since I was a teenager (a long time ago). My first Automatic was a Breitling Superocean Steelfish I got about 5 years ago (and still love). About 3 months ago I saw the new GMT Master II with the blue/black bezel online, so I stopped by the local AD and asked if he had one I could look at in person. Nope. And it might be awhile before he can get one. Well, he called me two days ago and said his courier just brought one in and would I like to stop by and take a look? Yup. I also looked at a SS Datejust II with white gold fluted bezel, silver face and light blue Arabic numbers (Reference code: 116334). It was a really beautiful watch, but the GMT is what I had been lusting after and I felt it's utility and functions matched my personality and lifestyle. Maybe I'll get the DJ II sometime in the future.
Thought I'd share a few pics of the new Rolex and also my trusty old Breitling. |

Congrats, and welcome to the forum. I really like that watch. My favorite grey dealer just got one in stock and I am trying my best NOT to go look at it.
