when it's time to get your watch serviced, do you bring it back to the dealer ? or do you ship it yourself to your nearest service center ?

also when going through a dealer will it be the exact same cost, or do they mark up the service cost ?

I ship direct. In my experience, there's a slight increase in costs having the AD ship for me. However the more important consideration is communications. A service center will only communicate with whoever sent the watch in this could potentially incur added delays if having to talk through a 2nd party.
