LOL., I did exactly the same thing with my 16710. I asked RSC to switch a link from one side of the bracelet to the other. Somehow they managed to break the link, they either didn't notice or kept quiet. Half an hour after I got the watch back the bracelet broke and I did exactly the same thing you did...I tried to break the fall and instead accidentally kicked the watch. It just slid on the floor. And nothing happened...but it was terrifying.

At this moment my watch loses 0.8 s per day. So nothing to worry about. I use the app called watch tracker.

The experience I have had with various Rolex watches over the years says don't worry- it would take a lot more than that to have any harmful effect whatsoever! They are built like a truck!

I dropped my LV submariner on a stone floor once. Terrible !!!
"luckely" only a very small scratch in the glass, which you don't see if you're not told! Works perfectly and it's more then a year ago now !
Rolex is made to be worn and used ! That's why I like the branch

The Rolex caliber is almost foolproof. Its very reliable and tough. Rolex has the reputation to make movements which are very. durable, so no worries for a little drop of 1 feet. The caliber of a Rolex is very simple, not many parts could get broken. Thats why i like the Rolex caliber. It it were a more delicate movement like a Patek or a Lecoultre, I would have worries, becauset they make mode delicate watches.
