I believe it was Z
I have seen F and D with certs so I am going to assume there will be some Z's with certificates and some later Z's with cards |

Warranty Cards
I have a Z Serial Air-King which came with the older style certificate and not the warranty card. I believe I have seen other Z serials with the cards so my guess is it was mid-way through the Z serial.

It was different for different models and most were Z series(low Z#'s got papers and high Z#'s got cards), but with DD's I have seen as low as a K series with cards. I believe many sat unsold for so many years in AD's stock that the AD's either lost the original papers and Rolex sent them new cards instead or Rolex themselves were sitting on a lot of unsold DD's in reserve stock and when AD's ordered them they would get the older new serials with new cards.
