Market price for Day Date 18238,18038,118238
What general price range should I be shooting for each of these models? (large range is ok...I just don't see many examples for sale) I'm considering buying new, but the initial depreciation for these watches is huge.

Well, the newest version of the DD's (118238) has an MSRP of US $ 22,450.
At an AD, you can normally get 15 % discount and maybe even more on a YG watch. The two other DD's are no more made. So you'd have to buy them preowned or NOS (could still be possible with the 18238). Price range is like Wolfgang states on those ones. The 18238 got some updates in year 2000, and the model ref. number was changed to 118238 for that reason. Click here to read more about the updates.

Ok that's what I thought in terms of pricing. Local AD will give roughly 20% off (last time I checked in), but I'm not sure about sales tax. I've done a bit of research on the models and it looks like I'll need to get the 2xquickset 18238 or current model because my dad is never going to have time to reset the watch otherwise. The search continues...
