Milgauss or ND Sub COSC...
As some of you may recall, some weeks ago I bought a Milgauss, but then my AD called me and told me he had a SS GMT IIc. When I saw it I loved it and decided to keep it and flip the Milgauss.
Now another AD that I knew called me today and told me that he had another Milgauss if I wanted it. Of course I said yes! But then he also said that he had received an ND Sub COSC ! So I said that I wanted it too. Well, right now I can't afford to have 3 watches, so here is my dilema: The GMT IIc is the nicest of the 3, so I will definately keep it for my daily use. Now, I've heard that the ND Sub COSC might be already discontinued, so being such a short run model, the price might skyrocket in a few years. The Milgauss on the other hand might still be in short supply for some time, but if supply catches up with the demand, it might be just another model. Would you buy the ND sub to keep? Would you buy and keep the Milgauss? Just buy and flip the Milgauss? Help! Thanks! |

If possible get them all. If not get the milgauss sell at a profit and then buy the sub and keep the profit

Wow! I've not heard anything about the 14060M being discontinued. If that were the case I'd go for the Sub. If not the Milgauss.

Velitsko, you either woke up too early or stayed awake too long... It must be around 5 am in Greece... right?
I guess that you, as a fellow GMT IIc owner are also biassed towards the IIc... |

I dont think the value of the cosc sub is going to increase above the prices above msrp that milguass is brining now. At least in short run. However, I have all three and I wear the Milgauss least of all.

A Sub is a no date sub, a sub with date is a Submariner Date...
Sources sources sources... they were saying that the Explorer is being discontinued too, along with the Daytona with date as a new model... Let's just wait till Basel shall we? |

i'd personally go for the ND sub regardless if it's to be discontinued. what difference would it make if one is not going to flip?

not enough info provided. what milgauss? Green Glass, black dial, white dial? big difference in market value now. I would go with Milgauss if it's the Green Glass, because they're selling at least $3K to $4K and more over MSRP. more info, please. there's rumors that milgauss may be stopped for awhile before going back into production.
best, dan |

Besides that, there is no confirmation that the Sub ND COSC is going to be discontinued!

Even if the rumors are true, I don't think the COSC Sub will skyrocket. It will experience a bump in value, but the real benefit will be owning a great watch.

I would buy the iconic Rolex, which is the Sub ND. I can't get warmed up to the Milgauss. If you had the Milgauss and did not warm up to it, then prob. you will do the same once you get it again. Sub ND!
