Anyone have a pic of TT DJ with black Dial?
I bought my TT last year with champaign dial and have regretted it. This due to my old eyes, can't read it without glasses on. Since it had to go to shop with broken crystal I decided to change to black dial. I went off the only pic i could find on rolex.com below. I think it will really pop.
Since it will not be back for at least a week to 10 days I was hoping someone has a pic of TT DJ with this dial, fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet. I know, I am like a kid waiting for Christmas. |

I have the same problem, and I was thinking of changing the face to a blue one. It seems like the gold hands on blue would show up too. They told me at the AD that it would cost $350 for the new dial and that I have to trade in the old one. Has anyone here been able to get a discount on parts like a new dial or is that pretty standard?
Actually the sales lady suggested painting the hands black so I could see them better but that just offended my sense of right and wrong. |

From looking at the pictures of different DJ's, I don't think the black dial will look like the one you pictured. I think that one is on the Leather Band (new Versions).
THe black one that my friend has has the stick marker with the railroad lines going around the circumference of the watch with small roman numeral markers. Anyway, here is a site that has all the dials. It seems to be the dials catalogue for 2007. Click on the dials & bracelet <-- http://www.oysterworld.de/1/index.htm |

I sent this exact picture to my AD with the watch, it will be this dial, the only thing they were not sure of is if it will have the tiny roman numerals or Arabic out side the stick marks |

Are they making you trade in the old dial? How did they price it?
