Looking for a price that is good for ss/plat ym

I'm looking at purchasing a SS/Plat Yachtmaster. I have located one that is a 2006 D serial. I am wondering what a good price to offer for this would be. The are asking 6675 OBO and just not sure what the best price for this watch is. If anyone can help I'd really appraciate it.

Thanks

Well, it depends on the condition and whether it has box and papers.

MSRP is US $ 8,325.

You can often get 15 % discount on it BNIB, so that would make 7,075 roughly.

Given that it IS preowned, even in a very good state and with p & b I would say that US $ 6,5 K is a good deal.

I'd try to lowball him first and offer the seller $6k. Maybe they'll meet you somewhere in the middle. If not, then try $6.5k.

If they don't bite, then there's always more of them to be had.

This is saying that the watch is in good shape. Can you inspect it in person before you buy it?

I got my "new to me" YM for $5950 from Gray and Sons and couldn't be happier. I posted pictures somewhere on here under the heading "Well, I got it." 2 year warranty (for what it's worth) and lifetime cleaning and polishing.

I think 6600 is way to much for a D serial. Man I wish I sold my Z for that much. I sold my 6 month old YM Z serial for $5850...just to let you know as reference. I have a P serial in mint condition for $5200 if your interested look at the forsales corner.
