I would not worry about the box being 1 year off, for all you know, your watch could be a late 2004 and, depending when sold, could have come with that box. Solid gold watches do sell at a slower rate than SS models, so it is plausible that you do have the period correct box for your watch.

You mean 1994 :) ...... you could be right. The serial is a '94 ... the papers are dated Oct. 1995 when it was sold by a German AD.
