Advice on additional AP?
Hi. I'm looking forward to pick up a AP forged carbon add to my collection, after owning two AP ROO diver SS and Titanium chronograph.
Between AP ROO diver forged carbon and Bumblebee. Which one would you guys refer and why? I love both but only go for one. Beside these two any other recommendations.! Thanks |

Bumblebee! Hands down!
Just a modern classic.

Funny thing is I got the Bee because the FC Diver wasn't out yet. Now that it's more readily available, I would still get the Bee first. While it wasn't the first FC model (Alinghi), it is the first regular production model made of FC. I also like the classic ROO dial design.
The one thing I will change/request is a datewheel swap for the black one at the next service. |

If you still have the SS diver then I would go for the Bee.
If just choosing between the Bee and the FC diver I would go with the diver for the following reasons... 1. Less yellow...but still enough to break up the dark colors 2. Tang buckle vs. the deployment 3. wide rubber strap vs. more tapered hornback 4. natural Ti case back and plots vs. DLC coated 5. black date wheel better matches dial 6. I like the shape of the hands better on the FC diver 7. 300m water resistance. (prob dont need it but it cant hurt) |

Thanks. The thing I'm worry is that too much yellow on the dial may missed balance and too bright. Is it possible to request change anything on a watch from AP service?

I would go with the FC Diver. I think the BB has way too much yellow.

Sorry my bad. I forgot to mention that 44mm is beautiful but it's way to big on my wrist so I will pass on.
I like Ceramic diver with display case back. But forged carbon is worth to invest, IMO. Later in the future FC will be rare, reason why they are doing ceramic is forged is much more expensive to produce. |

1. True but some like the yellow contrast 2. Easy to put a Diver strap/buckle/plots 3. See #2 4. Case back is hidden so no loss IMO 5. Agreed. AP will swap date wheels by request 6. It's a personal preference. I think both are nice. 7. No way I'd dive with an AP. Cheaper to risk a Rolex. |
