SubC Oyster 1/2 Link
Hi All,
Hoping some of the experts here can give me an answer before I make an adjustment to my bracelet........ It appears a 1/2 link is included with the SubC bracelet as standard? This is the last link under the clasp. (EDIT: Second to last - not the easylink locking part) My question - I want a 1/2 link for the 6 o'clock side of the bracelet, can anyone give me a reason NOT to simply remove the 1/2 link from under the clasp and move to the 6 o'clock side?? Many thanks, Andrew. Last edited by snu04aml; 6 November 2013 at 06:50 AM.. Reason: Spelling |

Thanks for your experience. I don't mind trying the adjustment and then reverting to the original configuration if there is no improvement, I'm really hoping for someone to confirm that it is fine to move the 1/2 link (or not).

Not an expert either; I think you should be able to put the 1/2 link wherever you want.

Why not just use the glidelock clasp to adjust it?

Thanks for the input....... looking at it now I can see how it wouldn't look great! Just hoping I can look past the aesthetics if it does in fact make the watch more comfortable to wear.....

I'm going to need to order some loctite and more than likely a better screwdriver...... do you think I can go to RSC London and ask them to move the 1/2 link for me, or will I get laughed out of town?!? Anybody have experience of visiting for such a trivial little thing? Cheers, Andrew EDIT: Just found this; https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=322095 |
