I really love this exact model. Gang, any thoughts on how much of a discount is reasonable to expect on this baby at an AD?

Well with that infamous price increase it is uncertain, but about a month or two ago my AD told me he that list on that was $23k and he could do $19k for me! Unfortunately I did not had the resources to go for it!!!!

I'm going to my AD later on today, as they have got a W/G Daytona with the black dial in for me to have a look at.
While I'm there I shall have a look at the W/G DD.
I shall just wait to see if either smile back at me.
Thank uou for all your replies, during this thread.

Here are my three fave daytonas. I love them all. All WG, though I would consider a YG DD.

Hey Simon, that is a fantastic collection of Daytona's, how do you know which one to wear? Have you got a favourite?
I went to my AD, wasn't sure about the cos to start with, but after wearing it for a while and taking it outside,so that I could see it under normal light it started togrow on me.
I didn't like the W/G DD that they had, as it had the smooth bezel rather then the fluted version and a Roman white dial, which was to "in your face" for my liking, though the silver dial would be a lot better.
I'm going to speak with the manager tomorrow, as he is going to give me a price on my DD, only thing that I'm not sure about, is the classic question. Will I miss not having the date.
