Hi, i got a couple phone call from friends here or there. and we found out that someone is impersonating me and using very similar to my email.

The Scammer Email: [email protected] "no space as well, but there are 2 underscores"

My correct email is: [email protected] "no space, but there is only ONE underscore"

And i will always recommend that please give me a call at my number (614)804-3764 a head before..............

Thanh, thanks for the info. Like water, criminals always look for the path of least resistance. High pay off, low risk. Beware of fake / near email address and phones numbers that are always on record (likely VOIP for one country when they actually live in another). And at key points in the deal, when agreed on price, asking for address, shipping details....call to confirm at each critical point/junction in the deal.

Thanh knows that I do this habitually. Yes, it adds a few extra steps, but with so much money at stake, it is worth the extra insurance. If still not sure, go face-to-face in a public place and bring along a friend. Finally, you can also use PayPal. Yes, I know it costs 4% more, but it also offers client protection and a reimbursement...for instance when the item doesn't show up or it shows but its fake or not as described. PayPal does and has reimbursed in full. Don't ask me how I know.....

So sorry to hear the scammers are hitting again - terrible.

Hope you and the family have an otherwise great Thanksgiving and Holiday.

The Police & I continue to hunt that great Platona I bought from you last year (which the burglars stole about a year ago). The accomplice eventually confessed - they got $8000 for it from the fence. Trial still pending but Police caught them quickly.

Hope they catch the criminals pestering you.
