I was 51 when I got my SUB, now I can't stop looking and learning. I'm obsessed with watches.

Its called enabling here and seems to be perfectly acceptable and decent behaviour.

I'm 40 and just got my first rolex... however, the last watch I wore was a fake Tag that I threw in the garbage when I was 22...I said I'll never wear another watch again unless it's a rolex...and I did

I purchased my first ss sub at 26 and enjoyed it for years. For my 40th birthday, I purchased my grail - gold Sub. My son was born six days after my 40th birthday. The watch means a lot to me and will hopefully mean a lot to him when I pass it down.

I say go for it and enjoy it everyday.

I also bought my first SubC this year when I turned 40 and hit a work milestone. No regrets. I bought a few others (Pam 392, Planet Ocean 2500, Seamaster Pro C Blue) all within the past year as well. And now I'm eying my next Rolex, Polar Exp2.
It's becoming a bad addiction!

every watch that I have represents something for me - even the cheap ones, so they're all important and some way. They all bring good memories....

I have recently just got my first rolex. It's a great watch. Enjoy the ride....
