As a diver myself this is very sad news. Diving (any kind) is a fun sport/hobby, but water isn't human domain. We need to be careful.

Sad loss, but when you're pushing the limits…

Turns out the discussion/commentary on the NYT article is a pretty interesting read as well. People obviously have widely different opinions on what risks to take in life.
