Macro pic app for iPhone?

Good morning can anyone suggest an app that can facilitate taking good macro pics using an iPhone?

I've tried a free one but it didn't work at all.

Thanks

Precisely... I have this, it has 10x & 15x macro along with wide angle and fisheye... nice results. Here are a couple. iPhone 5s and 4in1 Olloclip:

Olloclip is what I used as well. Nice little piece of kit.

Superb macro pics!

Whilst we're talking photography...

Can any budding photographers recommend a good macro lens for a Nikon DSLR?

For only $70, this is killer! I also would get some use out of the fish-eye.

You can grab a used one off eBay for half that. Pay close attention to the version. An olloclip made for an iPhone 4 or 4s will NOT work on an iPhone 5 or 5s.

Just need a macro lens clip-on. Olloclip works, but I find it no different than the generic $15 one I have:

I would recommend something like this although I will admit, I shoot with Canon: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...D_IF_AF_S.html

Especially if you're not shooting on a tripod, you're going to need image stabilization in your lens. I don't have a lens with this feature because I shoot tethered to a computer, on a tripod. If you shoot "camera in hand" you're going to get some shakiness.

I don't like most of the jewelry photography tutorials you see online. Most of them are advertising for table-top photography sets. I'll set up a thread one day with my setup for shooting...

I would definitely go with image stabilisation as I have it in my other lens' and love it. Not too keen on using a tripod, too fidly.

I'd love to see your thread discussing set up and settings for shooting macros and general watch photography.

I'm sure that there are many others who would love to read that too.
