I was thinking about how often I'd use a chrono feature. A spa I'd use every day. Because of intense daily workouts, it would help in muscle recovery which is noticeably longer these days. Soothe soreness and provide a sense of relaxation and well-being, now that's value packed for me. I have no use for a chrono feature and don't want a Daytona in any flavor, but I'd enjoy the spa even with the extra work.

In a few years you're going to try to figure out how to get rid of that big plastic monster in the back yard...

or.............you're going to look at your wrist and think...."Damn, they're worth how much now !!"

Also they can be expensive. How was I to know that the girl I was hitting on in the late 70's, while drinking and such and having too much fun in a big old hot tub, was my first wife's girlfriend. Be safe and go with the Rolex.

As my SO says: get the watch; you know you will buy the tub later.

You know, I had forgotten this story, but this is a perfect time to tell it!

Several years ago, a buddy and I were on a ski trip in CO. All day long he kept checking his Sub and telling me that he couldn't wait to get in the outdoor hot tub with hyis bottle of Canadian Mist and a few women that he'd arranged to meet there. As we finished our last run, he quickly donned a pair of shorts and dashed out to the hot tub. He returned about five minutes later with a cracked crystal on his beloved Rolex. Seems that the 15-degree crystal didn't agree with the hot water in the tub. The rest of the trip was all but ruined for him.

Let that be a lesson, kids!
