It's been 24 hours since I quit now. I know Allen said it was supposed to be easy, and for the most part it is, but man, the mind plays some subtle tricks on you.
I can justify anything, even a $5k watch.

you know shelling out big bucks on a rolex is like jumping from a very high place ... before you jump, you gotta make sure you got your A$$ covered and while you are airborne, you'll have plenty of time to think why the hell you jumped ... but when you land. as long as there is something to break the fall, you'll see that all the fear was just about nothing .... but that first step to jump out of a perfectly fine platform, that's the tough one ....

Nice bike, my friend! I saw a lot of those in the UK. Their weather is so rainy and changeable over there, that the "stealth" look is pretty much standard!

Keep up the good work I quit on 9/17/07. If you can go five days, you got it licked

It has been 86 days since I quit. I use Chantix and it made quitting easy. After smoking for 37 years of smoking, no one around me has died (crankiness) and only occassionally do I think of smoking.

I bought a Porsche a couple of years ago and everyone thought it was really great. I was bored with it within a week and had buyer's remorse as it took special effort to come home, get it, and park a hundred yards away from everyone else. My rollies however have brought me nothing but joy and I actually are going up in value which is more than most eye candy can say.

Yet aren't you the one who is obsessed with sending Rolex a letter and getting a Daytona at or below cost? And you are so obsessed that you think there is some conspiracy? The Daytona says I have connections or I paid a premium. Which one is it?
