no extreme story but my 16030 had to live thru MX races and mountain bike downhill races for few years and she still works like a charm... I mean just before she had a meeting with some water... crown opened...

In spring, two months later, when I drained the swimming pool, what did I find at the bottom? My Explorer II ! Seems the crook had gotten rid of it in case he got caught. It wasn't running but no water had gotten into it. Washed it off, set the date and time, shook it, and it started running fine again. Had to service it though for the broken wrist band.
Amazing story!!

There are some amazing stories out there to be told, keep them coming.
Nothing eventful as happen to any of my watches, & I hope it stays that way.
But I do worry from time to time when I'm in a strange place, what would I do if somebody clocks my watch & decides to make a grab for it!!
