I have a ladies YM with me now. Just wondering if it's Platinum or SS?

Well, it has the same properties as my Platty.

Dial and bezel (along with insert) are all Platinum.

Rest of the watch is steel.

Well, yes.....except for the movement, naturally.

40 mm YM is fitted with calibre 3135 (same as Sub-date, SD and DJs).

29 mm YM is fitted with the superb 2235 calibre, still considered by many to be the best movement in the Rolex line-up.

The mid-size 35 mm also has the 2235 movement.

One more difference - 29 mm and 35 mm are fitted with the TWINLOCK crown.

40 mm is fitted with the TRIPLOCK crown.

Yeap it's a mid size. My female buddy originally wanted to get the Ceramic GMT but ended up with this one instead. Now she's contemplating the SS sub or the SD.
