I really love the Black-Bay, and I'm glad I own a watch that proves that the Black-Bay dial combo (round markers and Snowflakes hands) is legitimate, despite all the comments we red when Tudor released the Black-Bay. And I find this combo really nice, because the round markers are more elegant than the square ones imho, and the Snowflakes hands gives this watch a strong personality, in addition to being very readable. The dome plexi. The Black-Bay has a great dome saphir as well. The watch has a very fat case. But if you want to know its full history, please check this post in the vintage section, you will understand what the well known term (in our community) "Tool watch" means…. https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=326991 |

Unfortunately Tudor is still not routinely available in the UK, so I've never really thought of one before.
I'm just back from vacation and when I saw the Black Bay in my travels I simply had to have it. Domed crystal, matt and gilt dial, bevelled edges, lovely aluminium insert, rose gold surrounds, all at a really decent price, I just couldn't resist. Such a great watch! Here's a couple of photos but not in the league of so many great pics in this thread. So pleased to be able to post in this thread |
