Finally, a replacement for the Oakley (small) watch vault !!
To the forum:
Just been advised that Casebudi has released a new smaller version of its watch travel case. It's 6mm smaller than original case and fits 38mm watches. Available on Amazon! (Thank you Gordon for the heads-up). Alan |

There is a thread about this in the AP section. Check it out. I bought one and did a mini-review.
In short, I love it. I think it's a great value for the money. |

It's still a little bigger than the old small Oakley, but should hold most Rolexes just fine. I think they made it like this because it seems they may have dropped their large model (not sure about this). The new size is probably a good compromise between the large and small.

Goos to know I'll check out your review. I have some of the small Oakley's, they seem to be worth their weight in gold these days.

This looks to be very comparable to the small Oakley watch vault which I have and like very much.
One thing's for sure; The price is certainly right on Amazon.

Just went into a Oakley store here in DC (actually at the new Tanger Outlets at National Harbor). They had 3 small vaults in stock which I grabbed. They said they will get more, so I'll go back and check this week. Anybody interested if they have them?

Yes. I would like to get my hands on one or two, if possible!

This is very curious though. Can you give us the part number off the box? The old part number to the small vault (07-233) still does not hit when searched.

Does anyone know if this will fit a Submariner? The sub is 40mm and the description says up to 38mm. I wonder how tight the fit would be.

I have both case buddies the large and the small, the small one fits the 40 mm submariner perfectly. The large one has a bit of room for the watch to move around and both are made with quality.

The small one definitely holds a 40mm sub.
