Ice skating :-)

Had a great time tonight ice skating with all my old friends, finally mastered skating backwards. Please note to the newbies, "it is not easy"

It's been years since I've put on some skates and went on ice, glad to know you had fun.

Myself also, have not been on ice skates in Decades...yet back in elementary school there was an ice skating pond on my way home so I always carried my skates to school so we could ice skate after school...every afternoon until it got dark(no lights)!!!

Well Canadians are born knowing how to skate. It's in our national psyche.

Over time, I've seen identical "original" posts in different forums from posters with different user names.

Maybe we need to negotiate an exclusive rights deal?

I miss skating. I tried to put my skates on perhaps a decade ago and they fell apart from dry-rot... I had them since I was a teenager. I don't have the eyesight for hockey but I really like the ankle support that ice hockey skates give you. Someday I'd like to pick up another pair of skates. I wasn't really any good at skating but enjoyed it.

Stopping was always a challenge once I got going..

Yea that surely ain't me, I own the rights to my own post. Don't know who that other guy is, must of read mine and thought it was cool to post (or) he also went skating and was too lazy to write his own experience
