Diver question . .
When setting the time on my AP Diver - the minute hand always moves when pushing the crown in to set the time. Is this normal?
Thanks, Jeff |

If the main spring is fully wound or close to fully wound the minute hand can jump after you set the time when you push the crown back in.
I have found that if I only give the crown a few turns (just enough to get the movement running), then set the time/date and push the crown back in the minute hand won't jump. I then top off the mainspring with another 20+ turns of the crown. |

Turn the crown slightly back before pushing it back in usually helps.

Give the crown a little bit of a 'wiggle/turn' (just a millimeter or so either way) before you push it back in. It won't jump then.
