Rolex and Car enthusiasts! Let's see them!

Hey guys,

I'm 22, just got my recently got my first Rolex. The BLNR GMT 2, I know I have been into cars my whole life ever since I saw my brother's first Audi. I know as I have gotten older my taste for things have gotten more classy and a little expensive. So I know I'm not the only one on here who loves a fast and beautiful machine so let's see them!

My 2000 B5 S4, everything has been replaced. Boasts a nice 400whp at 24psi. Everything is about as OEM plus as it can get besides the wheels. From rare Recaro A8 seats to 1 of a kind BBS LMs.

Ofcourse the first love of the Rolex collection!

I never saw the point of spending much on a car when there are such nice watches...

Gorgeous minty Audi. Nicest I've seen.

I sold off my M3s after my son was born so nothing fast to show. I miss them. But will get back in the game when he's older.

Sigh. I know what you mean, Laszlo. I gave up my go-car when our second kid arrived. Now I'm seriously contemplating a Suburban (can't do a minivan!!!)

Enjoy it while you're young Sole!

Really nice B5.

I have a 335i and it's a great platform for modding, but I've gotten a bit tired of it. I think I'm at the stage where I'm happy with the car and I really don't want to do anything else to it. I'd like to move to something a bit more raw like an E46 M3

Suburban would be cool. Thank goodness my wife has never suggested a minivan. She calls them chuck wagons. No offense to anyone who owns one of course. I channeled my need for speed into off roading. At least it provides some sort of outlet.

And as noted to the OP, enjoy it all before the kiddies come.

I have a 2012 335 with the M Performance Pack. Nice car, fast enough, but not nearly as much fun as my old 335is convertible. That thing would eat Mustangs and S4s regularly.

Next car will probably be a 1966 Ford F-100 with an Edelbrock crate motor and air ride suspension...

I like that Audi! (And the watch, of course!) Here's a bad pic of my BLNR in my '14 5.0 Mustang.

Here's a few pics of my sold e90 M3 (can't find ones of my e46) which had the sunroof delete... and my sold 1976 BMW 2002. Will keep looking for my e46 pics. Did a lot of nice and tasteful mods to that beast. That is the one I miss most. The 2002 was a total POS money pit. Don't miss that car at all and if anyone ever gets the classic car bug, don't... it's not as glamorous as one would think.

It looked and ran nice but always needed attention. Every time I dropped $ into that thing a week later it needed something else that was hard to find and cost more $$. It began possessing my life.

There were also other little things that drove me crazy... One example is that the gas filler sat very low... and it had the larger diameter regular lead gas hole... so as something as simple as putting gas in the car, was a twenty minute nightmare. I would literally have to squat down to pump while f'ing gas would blow out in my face and if I stood up it'd get all over my pants and shirt. You could light me on fire after I left the station. Car was nothing but bad karma.

Now that I'm bound to off road activities, here's a pic of my sold LR4 which was an amazing truck... but I traded her in last April for a '13 RRS (last of the NA V8) and in my opinion, the last real Land Rover. The current LR4 will be replaced in '15 with a watered down LR5 for the masses. And the new '14 RRS is well... watered down as well. Shame on them! LOL.

I probably wouldn't have spent as much on modding my car if I had discovered watches earlier!

I'm looking forward to the f80 M3 as soon as my 3rd is out of his car seat in April '15
