Which Tudor Mid Sub to buy?

I'm deciding between two Tudor midsize subs. Both are on eBay from reputable sellers. Both are all-original.

Here's the breakdown. I'm attaching pictures of both. Can you guys help me decide which one to pull the trigger on?

75090 (first three photos, oyster bracelet)
-$1580
-Scratched bezel and many light scratches on the case/band--would have to replace bezel and have case and bracelet polished at some point.
-Includes recent service paperwork.
-I prefer the oyster band on this watch to the Jubilee band on the other one, but the band seems to have some stretch (see photos).

76000 (last two photos, jubilee bracelet)
-$1780
-Excellent overall condition.
-Includes inner and outer box, booklet, hang tag, and wallet. Not a complete set but would be nice to have the box and this would probably increase future value.
-Pearl on bezel is a replacement.
-Service history unknown.
-Can't find very much info about the 76000 model--very very few previously sold on eBay or message boards, so I worry a little about resale potential. 75090 is much more common.

What do you guys think? The 75090 seems like the flagship of the Tudor mid-subs, but the 76000 with box seems like a good deal and I wouldn't need to have the bezel replaced. But the watch would need to be serviced immediately.

I think you should wait for better options. Those price points are high,
And both present their own issues.

I tend to agree you will need to spend $'s correcting either, and good ones do come up

I would wait to see if one becomes available in the for sale section. These subs command a high price in mint condition. I've been looking for one for years at a decent price. I hope now that Tudor is back in the US they will do a reissue.

I can't tell you about price if good or not…but I would price out what it would cost to replace or repair the oyster bracelet and the bezel for that watch. The Jubilee one looks to be in better shape.

Perhaps you can negotiate a lower price.

I think there is a TRF'r that sells Tudors….darn if I can't remember his name. Ive inquired about his stock before. I think starts with a K? Dig around on the For Sale section.

Good luck…:-)

RSC serviced my mid-size Tudor Sub (75190) no problem. In addition to an overhaul, they replaced the bezel insert and even added a link to its unique jubilee bracelet. Shouldn't be a problem.
