Swiss made logo
A friend has an older Rolex Oysterdate Precision. It is a small steel watch, with the acrylic crystal being 1 inch across. The problem is that every one of these models I see online has "Swiss Made", or something to that affect, on the bottom of the dial. This watch does not have this on the dial. I can't check the movement because I don't know how to open the back, and I didn't want to break it. Did Rolex ever make any of these watches where they didn't put "Swiss" or something like that, on the dial?

Here are some pics. Not having the "Swiss Made" logo on the dial concerns me. Someone suggested It might be a repaint. If so, do that hurt the value a lot? I am thinking of buying for my sister, and he only wants $200 for it.,,

Actually got the price down to $100. It runs great. Took it to a jeweler and he verified it as authentic. Movement is in pristine shape. I just wish it was larger then I could wear it.
