Rolex never had the letter O as a serial prefix. If they did it would presumably have been the second in the R, L, E, X run, which started the letter prefixes in the late 1980s.

C is 92 if it might be that. Otherwise your first digit is missing.

There is no genuine SD 16600 with a single letter O serial, now if you mean the DSSD Ref 116660 and that starts with a O its a random serial. And all this can tell you is the case was stamped sometime between the latter part of 2010 till present time.

Watch is still original as I bought it, It has not been serviced.
Recently rhen I had a friend look at the watch he noted the watch serial and cert serial did not match. I then pulled out all my documentation and original invoice from the AD and the docs did not match the watch I had. I took this up with the AD in December and basically they had switch the box with that of another watch they had sold. So Rolex SA had to inspected the watch and issued a new warentee card. That is why I just got the card back;) |

Yeah bought 1 Sept 2007 at Rolex AD, was trying to find out the approx age as one would expect it to be a 'F', 'D' or 'Z' Serial, unless it had been sitting on the shelf a while.. this was my first Rolex and back then I quite uninformed with regards to watches.

TheRe is no reference to an O serial and many Of us who have seen 100'000s of rolex between us have never heard of an O serial.
Are you able to enlighten us or you just playing a game?

I was leaning toward this in my mind, but thought like LV Rolex wouldn't let a misprint go into the wild.. I will have to photograph the lugs tonight

Wow, interesting...gonna have a sad ending...the 'O'h looks more like a zero (compare to the 'O'h in Oyster below it; in which case, there are no totally numerical serials of late.
