Finally picked up my birth year watch!
Always wanted a 1675 brownie.



2.88 serial, II.71 inside the caseback and 2/71 on the original tight jubilee.
Went to my watchmaker for a new crystal and check up, but he was on vacation. The nerve.

This has been the hardest watch to photograph. Oh well.
More to come later guys.

The Patina of Age. 1976. That's Yours Truly, standing. Tennis shirt by Fila

In the second shot, I'm wearing a 70s world-timer, which I loved, but no longer have. I don't even remember the maker, but it was manual wind, and a gift from my Dad.

I'll have to make do with this 9411/0 for now ⚓️ from the same period.


On another note, on September 17, 1976, NASA publicly unveils its first space shuttle, the Enterprise, during a ceremony in Palmdale, California. Development of the aircraft-like spacecraft cost almost $10 billion and took nearly a decade.
