I'm really surprised how close this is considering the Sub is so popular. Those damn SD Zealots!

I went with the SD simply because there are just too many people with SS SubDates out there. Morever, with the SS SubDate at full MRSP from where I come from, the SD with the option of discounts is definitely a better buy.. Juz my 2 cents

I'd tend to agree, but IMHO the SS GMT IIc simply does not have the STYLE that the SD has. I am still VERY close to selling my SS GMT IIc and going back to the CLEAN and understated SD.

Bo, you and I have parallel thinking. My SD is sorely missed. Sometimes it's love/hate with the GMTIIC and I'm getting more and more tempted to go back the SD. |

Well, some, including my friends and family, think it would be a "down-grade" to go from an SS GMT IIc to an SD (once again). But I don't care! My friends don't know much about watches, and I have a hunch that they only focus on what watch is more expensive and most blingy. I miss my SD. Period!

Agreed. For some odd reason the GMTIIC doesn't feel as special as the SD. Hard to put into words, but you obviously know what I'm talking about. |

Mike you make a good point even in jest, I guess I am a damn SD Zealot. Sorry I guess I have been fairly close minded when it comes to the SD. I will try to do better in the future. I own a LV Sub I love it too.

If I was a diver, or even knew how to swim in deep waters, I would consider the SD, but a Sub is plenty waterproof for me.
