I think the watch actually fits her pretty good. It gives a good frame of reference to her skinny girl wrist. The other sport Rolex watches look big and floppy on a woman but not the Daytona. The OP's question is too subjective. He needs to actually try one on. IMO

I also feel my daytona wear smaller then my GMT2C... the bezel makes the appearance of the watch smaller for sure.

I have tried both 16610 sub and current daytona on. I said the daytona wore bigger and looked bigger. i want others opinions. how is this a subjective question? its so basic!!!!

well the 116610 sub makes the 16610 look small for that matter

the daytona SS is the last sport model in the lineup under 'old' 40mm dimensions i wouldent expect it to wear bigger than a GMT ceramic

my question ** im the OP by the way IS:

does the daytona wear bigger or smaller than THE 16610 submariner **non ceramic.

I need answers from people with personal experience wearing both these models

It's interesting you guys say that. I feel that after wearing a subc or a 42mm PO then altho the Daytona is a bit smaller it doesn't make a big difference to me, but after wearing a 42mm ROO the Daytona really does feel quite small, thin and light, and also after a 44mm Breitling. But as Phong said it is important in a collection to have variety and to keep the spice alive.
