Haha! You're absolutely correct my friend! Well, between these two examples none can classify as haute hologerie, however, I feel the YM2 especially with the Regatta function holds up quite nicely to this AP. Think of it, AP's are marvelous timepieces, however, with the same chronograph movement in different flavors I start to wonder if the creative minds at AP are even trying to captivate folks anymore, sorry but Lebron James does not classify as Haute, with that said I do miss my RG44 that I sold to put cash back in the bank...

When I close my eyes and think Haute, I picture something like this...

although, for a casual ultra luxury watch, i'd take the ceramic Diver over both (and still get a dose of orange).

Well, if you ask a Rolex forum whether you should buy a Rolex or an AP and the overwhelming response to this question is buy the AP then what can I say ? How about the AP will be a B___h to service! Not swayed?.....I didn't think so.

I would take the YMII. But this one AP calls my name every once in awhile.

Pic not mine.

I will pick the AP ROO Volcano but take in mind when it needs to be serviced it will cost a lot and waiting time is long vs the Rolex YM.
