Rent A Pet / Rent A Rolex ???

I was just watching the news....you know, they're end of the show "touchy-feely" stuff.

They were going on about the popularity of renting a pet.. If you have a hot date, you rent a nice puppy for the evening....or if you feel lonely 'cause your sweety is gone for a while, you rent a Weiner dog or something..

Well, what about a Rolex ?????

Got a hot date....Rent that GMT II..

Going to the Class Reunion... Yeah...Rent that WG Daytona..

Heading to the beach with the guys/gals.....Rent that 18k Sub.....

Well, Whattya' think...... ??????

Do we have a winner here.. a multi-million dollar enterprise ?....Would you rent your watch when you needed, and wear the old G-shock the rest of the time ??

Well....would Ya' ???

A few years back I needed a tux for banquet, and part of the package from this Phila. tux rental chain was a Rolex Air king. I believe the rental was something like $45.00 a day.

Personally, I'd never rent a Rolex. I like to own the watches I wear.
