Funnily enough the choice you were deciding upon is also the 2 models I am weighing up as my next watch.

I should add that I currently have an EXPII 42mm as my only watch. I have a 7.25" wrist and do not wear a suit. Short sleeved shift is as business-like as it gets.

Date is important to me, as is size of a watch so I am leaning towards the DJII model you have already chosen - your photos look great. I actually like the face of the explorer with the arabic numerals, but the lack of a date is putting me off (as well as the 39mm size). I do however much prefer the brushed look of the explorer vs the PCL.

I think you made the right choice, and am 90% there myself
