Hey All,

Does anyone know anything about the early model Tag 1000's? I was wondering if the 2-tone band was solid or plated gold.

In Wolf of Wall Street, Leo DiCaprio wears an all gold one (which I mistook for a GMT with a Jubilee band).

While I don't know much about the early Tag 1000s, I do have a buddy that is a watch maker at an AD, and he says to really watch out and do homework on the earlier Tags. A lot of the early ones do not have parts available anymore.

Plated. At least all of the ones that I have seen. That would be many.

I have Owned a plated 1000 and STILL have a SS one. It is a great watch.

Plated, I'm pretty sure.

As soon as I saw the movie, I knew that Leonardo wasn't wearing a Rolex! Here's a pic of the 1000 like he was wearing!
