Price comparison of Vacherons in Asia
Hi, I will be traveling through Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore. I was wondering if anyone has input on where I can get the best deals out of these 3 countries. I will be visiting their capitals. Thanks!
Sorry for another ignorant question but for these countries are they duty free and tax free? If they aren't tax free is there a tax refund system such as VAT refund in Europe. Thanks so much! I have never been to these places before. Would I be able to get them to budge on the sticker price by any chance? |

Singapore will be your best prices. You can get the sales tax back at the airport on the way out--about 5%

The ADs will discount. I usually buy from Cortina but there are other good ADs around.

How much would you think I can get off for a steel model? I know gold ones usually can go for 15-20% off

I am not sure on the discount. I am in the market for an Overseas and was talking to my sales person about it. I could get about that level of discount but I am a known customer and have bough a lot of watches from them. I would guess you could get 15%.
