Rolex Datejust
Ref: 6305
SN: 926xxx (circa "iii-53" - Third quarter of 1953). VERY EARLY!! Numbers are all VERY sharp clear and readable.
Case: SS & ROSE GOLD, nice lugs - We did not polish (as found). VERY NICE Rose Gold Engine Turned Bezel. Original BREVET Crown.
Dial: Beautiful EARLY Cream OCC dial with Rose Gold Arrowhead markers. No Tritium "SWISS" with "DATEJUST" in RED. Red Calendar Disc. Dagger Hands! Very nice condition and color.
Movement: Has not been serviced, but is running. Please Note: The auto rotor is connected via the axle but is loose (rattles when shaken) and the autowind function is not operating. The watch runs under "manual wind". The movement is otherwise not damaged and is complete. The bottom half of the axle is damaged and therefore is not "connecting" to the movement gears. Replacing the axle will solve the problem. We just haven't had time to source an axle. Again, the autowind attachment is complete and there are no other issues.
Band: On nice soft cordovan leather strap fitted with VERY EARLY (SS & Gold) Rolex Tang buckle (circa 1950s). VERY RARE!
No box or papers.
