Mostly good exp w Zenith/LVMH USA service.

So, I have an el primero 1969 and noticed an irregularity on the dial. It was minor but it bugged me. I had bought the watch used and luckily it was still under warranty so i enjoyed it for a while and then sent it in just after new years. I took detailed pics of the issue and printed them up and put em inside the box that i sent to the service center. About 8 weeks later (Today) I got the watch back with the dial replaced and everything looking great. A full service was performed as well....all under warranty.

The only downside with the experience was that I never got any kinda of confirmation that the watch was received by LVMH, or what they planned to do about the issue. I had to call them up after i saw that the fedex had been delivered and ask them what the story was. So just a heads up on that issue. Otherwise

Good to know. My Zenith is currently there for movement service. A little disappointing that I've only owned it a year and there's a problem with the movement, but I guess I read the same thing in the AP forum too.

Thanks for the report!

Rolex watches are made by computers and assembled by robots. Zenith watches are still mostly assembled by hand. Anything hand-made will have human induced issues. Either way, Zenith is sublime
