1966 Omega Constellation Automatic Date 168.005 cal. 561 w/ Date

Up for grabs is a vintage Omega Constellation Date

168.005 reference in steel, with gold capped lugs and bezel.

244432XX serial number dates it back to around 1966 production with automatic caliber 561 movement.

Excellent condition case with no dings, dents, or deep scratches. Bezel is nice and ding free.

Dial is excellent "pie-pan" with minor signs of aging (even spotting throughout which can be seen under an angle). Dial appears to be original and never refinished. Hands also appear to be original to the watch.

Caseback is excellent and stamped 168.005

This is a 34mm watch excluding the crown.

No documented service history, but caseback has several service marks. Watch currently runs well at about +4/+6 seconds a day depending on position and strong amplitude.
