The pave Rolex dial:

ROLEXROLEXROLEXROLEX
OLEXROLEXROLEXROLEXR
LEXROLEXROLEXROLEXRO
EXROLEXROLEXROLEXROL
XROLEXROLEXROLEXROLE

etc.

Also, dropping the blue linen
dial from 1968-1970. It's
gorgeous! I had ADs in the
past tell me they'd never seen one!

Stay a little longer on this forum and you'll quickly discover that Rolex doesn't give a rats rectum about our opinions.

I even called them back then and told them that appointing PH was a bad idea.
Did they listen, of course not and see where that brought them.

You don't think they listened when they brought back the "darker bluesy" dial on the Subc TT Blue? Wasn't that a response to customers wanting the old bluesy back?

Personally, I do not care at all for the broader case/lugs on the new subs. And while I thought it was fantastic that they brought back the large orange hand on the exp2, they should have left the case size at 40mm. Just my very humble opinion.

I said the same, then I tried on the gmtIIC and loved it.

Nothing wrong with a 40mm thicker lug watch

Although the Tudor black bay is a more bold design, I like the BB even more...

Yes, thank you, I also don't like the new GMTs for the same reason. But that's OK, because it led me to the vintage market where I recently picked up a great 16750 that I really love. I haven't tried on a BB yet, but it does look good in photos.

not backing servicing of vintage is a big mistake ,,, puts a finite life on a rolex if you want to only have rolex service history ,,, they made them once , they could still make spares ,,,, to my thinking its like dishonoring your heritage

oh , and a mid size sub would have been nice.

Doing away with local AD's. We had a pleasant and knowledgeable local AD that they eliminated so now the closest AD is a 3 hour drive in a direction I rarely go.
It worked out well for me, subsequent purchases have been from trusted sellers here.

This won't be an issue when your eyes start to go south. You won't be able to see the engraving anymore.

Totally agree with that, it's a little over the top. Too much in such a confined space.
Having said that I own a boat load of Louis Vuitton.

1) The relentless price increases, but more importantly

2) Not making me a Rolex Ambassador and giving me free watches!

That is how I feel about the current blue/brown daytona. I am sure in the future some people will feel about it the same as I do now ;/

LOL!!
Rolex created a wide range of new generation watches in the past 5 years starting with the GMT. Don't agree.

They were riding on the Chinese market bubble to increase their prices over 30% over three years or so. That was greed and business. But isn't that what any business is about :"profit"!!
I think the exp2 would have been a home run with keeping the 40 mm and adding the orange hand, but the demand for larger watches made it the least classic of the bunch hence the size change gamble. But it worked well for what I see!!!!
