So I'm out with the wife following her around while she shops and realized my new watch (two day old Sub C) was somewhat loose. Then it dawned on me...you have a glidelock clasp dummy...just adjust it!

To preface, I've made a few minor adjustments while sizing the bracelet but this is the first time I've actually experienced the true benefits!

I'm seriously speechless with the brilliance of this design!

I was just telling my wife and she smiled and told me how excited she was (eye roll). So I thought I would share my excitement with a group of friends who would relate!

Be VERY careful. I also shared these news (as well as ease of strap change on my Cartier Roadster)...that is the last day I wore my Roadster.

She loves how 'easy' it is to adjust. Be VERY careful

It is a long clasp and quite bulky. So on say Milguass, GMT or Daytona , a) it would need to be polished and it may just not sit nicely.
More poignantly, its main function is for it to be easily expanded and contracted for a wet suit... Diving.. submariner

the very best I have had so far. Even thinking in getting a GMT II and swapping bracelet and claps for one of a sub-c, it's that good.

The glidelock clasp is the best thing since sliced bread. Every SS watch bracelet in the world should have the glidelock clasp.

That tiny little double-folding/expanding link hidden inside the GMT-II bracelet is AMAZING. It affords about the same expansion as you would get by sliding the GlideLock open by one "bar" (one of the six little indentations inside the Sub bracelet).

I don't know what you call that little folding link in the GMT-II bracelet, but it's pure genius. Works brilliantly.

That's the easy link clasp.

I love it, and bracelet isn't as chunky looking as the sub.

Yes. There's no separate divers extension like on the old bracelet.

The best clasp ever. It made me sell all my other divers. It also sucks because I cannot go back to pre-ceramic subs. I've been spoiled. 16640 and 14060 just do not feel the same anymore. Just because of this clasp I know for a fact that my collection will always contain a 116640 or 114060 no matter what. It makes the SubC the best diver watch in the world. That is how much I love the Glidelock. ;)

My TT Sub was loose I brought it a non AD and he took links off and it still wasn't perfect, When I went to the AD he explained the guy didn't know about the newer Rolexs and showed me the glide lock. I felt like going back and educate the Jeweler.

OK...it works great if you have a newer edition of the watches....I just walk around with a paper clip in my pocket so that my vintage can be "adjusted" on the fly....

The same thing happened to me yesterday ... first time I tried the Glidelock. Holy smokes! The Glidelock is awesome.
