Who bought a watch in the last 30 days to beat the price increase?

Fess up? Who is going tonight to pick up some more.

I had one eye on a possible price increase when I got the 116400.

I bought my platinum YM on Jan. 31st for 10% off, no tax and free shipping out of state. I probably would have waited a little longer but I wanted to have it before my vacation.

Got a Non-Date Sub today.

Was in a few AD's, including Rolex in New Bond Street. They've all said that the Watches have been flying out the door, due to the imminent price increase.

BTW, Bo, thanks for the heads up if you are around.I may not have got my a*se in gear and got one otherwise

I bought a TT DJ as a gift for my dad. Didn't need it until the summer, but figured why not go ahead and beat the price increase. Put it on layaway.

Mark,

Aren't you happy now? Your bottom line... you saved like $425. And, the watch went up in price!

Thankfully, the Milgauss didn't go up that much... just $300. Can't wait to get my hands on the GV!

Bought two in two weeks, Explorer II and SD. Both from a solid Gray dealer for $4,200 & $4,600 including shipment (no tax of course). Would have bought more to keep in the safe and re-sell after the 2009 price increase had I put more thought into it. $6,225 for a SD is nuts...No way I buy from an AD.

Hey Steve,

How are you. Yes, I am happy I didn't settle with being 3rd in line at the original AD and saved more then $425. Got the GMT for $5,397 including shipping and no tax. BUT I feel bad for everyone and that my next Rolex will be much more costly.

TT lady DJ, Jubilee bracelet and serti dial on 2/9; SS Explorer I on 2/22. When I bought the first one, I had no idea a price increase was coming. We went ahead and bought the EXP for my husband now even though it is a couple of months before his birthday to beat the price increase. Trying to keep myself busy at work so I don't cave and go buy a yacht master tonight.

I bought my Sea Dweller on Wednesday. I was planning to buy, but initially I was going to wait until Basel... but price increase made me buy now. I am glad I did

I bought my GMT II C 37 days ago.
does it count?

It doesn't matter much cause prices here are really high so it's not a bargain for me

I'll admit the thought crossed my mind when I got the 14060M last month in Hawaii. I honestly didn't expect that much of a jump though.
