What is wrong with me??

For the past week I can't stop staring at pics of Day-Date II's with the white dial/gold Romans. I would never, EVER buy or wear a solid gold watch...I don't think.

But...it makes me feel all

Anyone else have a solid gold Day-Date II alongside a SS sport collection?

lol why would you "never, EVER wear a solid gold watch" ? :)

I mean, I can understand that a SS certainly fits my lifestyle more right now - but I'd love to own a solid gold watch one day!

I love seeing YG and RG on other people's wrist in the wild, but I still can't pull it off IMO. I will definitely reward myself with a YG DD after my kids are through college -- nice celebration/occassion for a YG but it will be awhile.

No, there's nothing wrong with you. I have a Tridor Day-Date and a SubC Date as part of the collection. Love them both. Here's a photo of the Tridor.

I know the feeling, a watch that while I know may not be for me today, I see it in my long term future

That tri-dor is boss.

Such a niche watch.

Op... Love the gold man. So much warmer than stainless.

I tried on a solid gold watch and felt like a 12 year old giggly school girl while it was on my wrist.

Just saying.

Thanks, man. It has the optional WG bezel authorized by Rolex. Most of them have the stock YG bezel, so this is a rare bird.

I've never considered a gold watch until I saw this one. I am mesmerized by this watch. Love the brown face.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one! I am constantly changing the wallpaper on my Mac.....it went from a black Milgauss, to a black Explorer II, to a white Explorer II, then to a no date Sub, now it's back on an Explorer II. Problem is I want them all!
