Anyone contacted John Evans lately?

Sent him a few emails a few weeks ago and haven't gotten a response. Planning to call him tomorrow but was wondering if someone here has had contact with him either by email or phone in the past week?

ordered my schumi strap from him about a month ago and he was quick to respond as usual. Giving him a call is a good idea.

Yep. The blue croc is nice but I love APs on rubber. The blue schumi rubber strap looks and fits perfect. It also makes the weight of the 44mm plat much more manageable and its much better for swimming and sport activites.

Looks great-mine is currently on the Schumi strap. AP has now made a blue rubber strap for the 44. Waiting for mine to come in. It is supposedly same color as is used on the new plat tourbillon.

I'm confused... Isn't the pic above with the Platinum 44 on the blue Schumi strap? Are you saying there is a different shade of blue available?

Yes. I think Schumi is technically called "petrol blue". The new blue is same as the recently introduced plat tourbillon.
